The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the superior range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no status sassa fully functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The company level established for intervention encounters a significant website influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional website resources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and increase entry to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
